Change is Literally Coming: KAMPO NI PANGULONG DUTERTE NAG HAIN NA NG PROPOSAL PARA IPATUPAD ANG FEDERALISMO!

It's been several months since the people of the Philippines heard the plan of former Davao Mayor now President Duterte on changing the type of our government into federalism. That was a plan during the days of his election campaign, but now Duterte is dead serious to work on his goal of changing our system into a Federal government.

House of Committee on Constitutional Amendments will start the discussion about the proposal of this great charter change (ChaCha). Committee chairman Southern Leyte Representative Roger Mercado said that there are 29 Cha-Cha Bills and resolutions ready in his committee. They also invited legal luminaries and stakeholders to guide them during the hearing of proposals to amend the constitution.


According to Mercado, the proposals in his committee is about the change of government system into federalism and where to lead the amendment of laws which depends whether through Constituent Assembly or Constitutional Convention.
