Bishop Cruz Responds to Duterte's Cursing of Bishops and Priests

Former Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) president and Church Canon Law lawyer Archbishop Emeritus Oscar Cruz accepted the misconducts and weaknesses of the church specifically some bishops and priests. Bishop Cruz admits his shame on the church issues and according to him it never been a secret to everyone.

He emphasizes that there are lots of good bishops and priests but he's not telling they are saints because of the fact that they commit mistakes. According to Cruz, he understands President Duterte's foul languages against church because the president is not an ordinary man and has free thinking.

Cruz also shows pity to the incompleteness of the church and the people who always went to church hearing mass but never take it whole-heartedly.
