Witness: Popular Personalities Including Mocha Girls and Sharon Cuneta Made Concert Inside the Bilibid
Former PNP chief inspector Rodolfo Magleo explained why the National Bilibid Prison (NBP) is considered the "Little Las Vegas" during the time of Justice Leila De Lima because of the proliferation of drugs, gambling, concert, and prostitution.
Magleo was a convicted kidnapper and met De Lima and her former bodyguard/driver Ronnie Dayan in Bilibid in 2011 when De Lima sought Megleo's help to maintain peace and order in Bilibid.He also said that the Prison's maximum security compound is considered as "Drug Trade Center of the Philippines" where all the big time drug lords sell drugs.
During the hearing in the Justice House of Committee about the alarming spread of illegeal drugs Magleo said that many huge concerts had been performed inside the national penitentiary and compared the place and event into a popular resort citang Tatanungin?According to him, some of popular personalities who made concert inside the Bilibid during De Lima's time were Freddie Aguilar, Sharon Cuneta, Mocha Girls, and Ethel Booba.
Magleo is one of the six witnesses od the Department of Justice who gave their own testimony related to the issue of illegal drug trade in the Bilibid Prison.
