State of Lawless Violence Vs Martial Law

Philippines have been greeting the whole world with crime news and shocking evidence revelation against personalities engaged in the illegal drugs.Hearing these news over media are as common as drinking a cup of coffee in the morning not until the ground shaking news about Davao City bombing make the great noise in headlines last day.

Davao City is considered the home city of President Duterte and the symbol of his good governance, to maintain the peace and order of his beloved city he signed a "state of national emergency on account of lawless violence" on September 5, 2016.

State of national emergency is a state where the military (specifically the army) takes control of the certain place and performs the tasks with the police. They controll the patrol over the city, investigate in crime scenes, arrest criminals, and do checkpoint just like what a common cop do.

Unlike martial law there is a limitation for the power of authorities in this state (e.g. the army can only do the search in homes with search warrant in their hands) so civilians has nothing to worry about.

This is the best way to stop violence in places where the criminals try to swarm and start hostilities. The authorities are in full alert to protect and engage in cases where force is needed to repel threats.

Proclaiming the state of lawless violence is a good choice to resolve alarming criminal or terrorist activities in our country according to foreign political experts. President Duterte gains the respect of other nation because of this.
